Troja Café & Restaurant in Wuppertal

It is very expensive and the food is not good and delicious, so it is not recommended, stay away if possible ... !!

I am very disappointed. Unfortunately Troy cheated me out of money. A dish that was usually served with minced meat, I asked for a change to replace it with a chicken skewer. "No problem" said the employee. Far from it, unfortunately I was only told when I got the bill that I should pay 4 € more for the chicken. Not a word of this was mentioned before. I should pay full for the dish, even if the minced meat wasn't there ... ?? Plus € 4 or € 4.50 for the chicken. And I also didn't notice the minced meat skewer that I had paid for. When asked it said: "That's how it is with us". What a shame, it was probably my last visit with you.

The food is very tasty and the price is okay. The drink doesn't work at all. Almost 3 € for 0.2L ??

The store is okay Nothing extraordinary, but still tasty, prices good, waiting time until the food comes a little longer sometimes. But you can definitely go there :)

Super tasty and a great price-performance ratio. We had breakfast there. Delicious, varied and sufficient, including tea, which is refilled if necessary. There is plenty of seating and even an outdoor area. The restaurant is located in the city center of Wuppertal. You can park in the surrounding multi-storey car parks. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

This restaurant is an asset. Great staff, the choice of dishes is more than sufficient. The respective food tasted excellent.

Very tasty food and ample portions. The daily specials are particularly cheap, so I had wonderfully tender lamb with vegetables. Unbeatable in the price-performance ratio.

I love eating in Troja, everything is delicious but we see the waiters every time we go, we leave the trink Never Bid But I'll always go to eat❤️

We went to the restaurant because we wanted to eat good food. Not only did we get that, but we also got a really chic ambience. The food and drinks came very quickly, it was delicious and it wasn't expensive either. Delicious bread was served before the meal.

Very nice restaurant right in the city center of Wuppertal. The breakfast was awesome. I can't understand the other reviews! I was convinced otherwise. Very, very varied and delicious. The service is extremely attentive. Price performance very, very good. Keep it up!

There were 6 of us. The food came with a delay, then sometimes only lukewarm. First impression when entering was very good, but not a recommendation on closer inspection. Apparently there is a problem with the large number of guests. There are clearly better restaurants.

Meat is good until after a while it simply burns on this stone board and sticks, both meat and rice lacks salt, mezze plates can be completely knocked into the barrel because they really have no idea how to prepare it and for the portion the pfreis is too high. Only been there 3 times in the last 2 to 3 years and each time had a bad experience with the food.

My partner ordered the eggplant and said he was disappointed. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and thought it was very good. So 50/50.

Very tasty Turkish food at moderate prices. The ambience is cozy & the staff friendly. The service could be improved a bit. Toilets in top condition and corona conditions are observed. Restaurant was well attended which always speaks for itself. Authentic Turkish cuisine highly recommended.

13 .6.2020 15: 00-16: 00 2 people on the second floor table number 7 A waiter who does not speak Turkish We ordered 2 soups and 1 carrot The soups came lukewarm. I wanted it to be heated according to the cold. The waiter was almost going to argue with me in an amateurish way. (Very interesting) My soup came warmly. The salt and sauces arrived 5 minutes later. Unfortunately it was still delicious. The cauliflower is almost 9 Euro. And it was not delicious at all. A thick eggplant and a bad inner mortar. 1 Cola 1 water 24 Euro je 2 Trinkgeld anyway. Please teach your waiters the smiling face and talk to the customers.

Hospitality? Hardly! The question of a table for 4 people was asked by us at the entrance. The employee made us wait almost 7 minutes, although there were three 4-seater tables available. I asked him if we could sit down there - instead we were assigned to a 6-seater table in the last corner - under the stairs on the 1st floor. A stroller was parked very close behind our table. In addition, our table had not yet been cleared. There is a very strong distinction between families with a different migration background and couples! BECAUSE THE COUPLE THAT WAS BEHIND US COULD sit at a 4-seater table next to the kitchen without any problems. We left the shop immediately! That was the first and last time that I was with you! 0 stars. Reviews on the homepage are ignored and simply deleted!

Love the Turkish food, especially Grilled Items. Lovely decoration, Good atmosphere. 2 storey building can fit many customers Waiting time is quite long and Lamb chop was sold out and let us notice after 30min. However, Food is great. Good presentation. We had a great time with friends.

Honestly i wouldnt recomend it to anyone , staff are unfriendly , very expensive comparing to other nearby restaurents , warmed up food, asked for seasam rings they said we dont have we inly do it fresh however they brought 2 looks very old like 4-5 days old , just waste of time and money but never ever again

Good it's good, it's the close thing I have found for a Mexican Salsa, the meet for the doner was good and the prices were good for the amount you get, service is quite quick, really close to bus station so you can have a good meal before you continue on the road.

Great place to have a decent lunch for a fair price. Their portion sizes are huge and more than enough for a single person. The food is also tasty and the waiting time is as low as 10 minutes. However, the service would have been a bit more friendlier. And, we should keep in mind that they only accept cash and EC cards, but no MasterCard or Mastero cards.

Nice and tasty food. Super friendly staff. A great variety of meals. Very good oriental flair and really nice atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Full recommendation. Definitely take a visit if you are close by.
